Vintage, new and big cars and vehicles stole the show on Wednesday afternoon at the Tuscola Technology Center’s Car Cruise and Big Toy Show event.

The Caro community came out to see all the fun at Wednesday’s event and, most importantly, show support for a tech student. Bobby Cerasoli, a Millington senior from the Tuscola Tech Center, was recently diagnosed with cancer. After the diagnosis, Olson thought that this was the best time to hold this event supporting Bobby’s battle. All proceeds from the event will go towards Bobby’s treatment and expenses.

“It was wonderful to see all the community support for us never doing anything like this,” said Cindy Olson, event coordinator and teacher at the Tech Center. “Bobby was so appreciative and it was great to see him having such a fun time.”

Olson thanked all the students and staff who helped put this on and said they were the reason why this was made possible. Because of the overwhelming and positive turnout at the event, Olson said that this will be an event held every year.

“It went so well that we plan to make this an annual event,” Olson said.

The Tech Center is still taking donations for the Cerasoli family, as all funds from the event will help his family during this time.
